Camp Kid Again
The College of St. Scholastica invites women age 50 and over to register for the third annual Camp KID-Again. The camp will be held July 27-Aug. 2 on the St. Scholastica campus, located on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior.

The camp includes physical activities, classes, speakers, and recreational outings along the shores of Lake Superior, as well as time to relax and reflect. The camp’s goal is to offer experiences that will enhance the women’s physical, emotional and spiritual health, said Dana Moore, 2008 camp coordinator and St. Scholastica women’s volleyball coach.

The physical activities require no previous experience and may include kayaking, tennis, yoga, walking, dancing, biking, and canoeing. Individuals participate at their own pace; all activities are optional. Additional activities may include games, team-building exercises, sightseeing, cooking, and discussion groups.

Participants will stay in new two-bedroom apartments on campus. The camp fee of $900 includes six nights of lodging, three meals daily (including several restaurant meals), speakers’ fees, and transportation and fees for all off-campus activities. Travel to Duluth is not included. The deadline for camp registration is July 11. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants, so early registration is encouraged.
