Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance

This twice weekly (Tuesdays/Thursdays) series of classes over 12 weeks provides older adults with the opportunity to improve their balance and reduce the likelihood of falling. Research has shown that people completing the program are half as likely to fall and less fearful of falling. Participants learn balancing skills, good body alignment and coordinated Tai Chi movements. To register contact Candy, 218-365-8019.

The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging (AAAA) is the designated area agency on aging for the seven county Arrowhead region. Area agencies on aging were established under the Older Americans Act (OAA) to respond to the needs of Americans aged 60 and over in every state. They are designated by the Board on Aging to provide three critical functions: OAA funding administration, community planning and service development, and information and assistance. The Arrowhead AAA is part of the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission.
