This workshop guides people in exploring healthy ways to live and maintain active lifestyles while managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. It teaches practical skills to manage the depression and isolation that accompanies chronic conditions. Leave with tools and confidence that make a difference in how you live. Open to adults with chronic conditions, family members, and caregivers. This interactive workshop is facilitated by peer leaders trained to guide people to develop plans that meet their specific needs. Developed by Stanford University and part of their health self-management series of workshops.
